My youngest daughter can be a pain at times, especially when she is playing games on the computer and the telephone rings. Since the phone is near the computer she will sometimes complain if you pick it up and talk on the phone because it will interrupt her. Well we all enjoy playing games on the computer, so I was thinking that some game accessories could enhance our enjoyment. Something like a joy stick to improve the movement of our “characters” for role-playing games or headphones when we want to be able to hear the game and block outside noise. The right game accessories can help us enjoy or games more.
Yesterday I tried to cook the recipe that I had been wanting to try to follow. I will take a picture of it tomorrow but for now I will have to share to you the recipe from Del Monte Calendar:
Pineapple and Shrimp Omelet
3 pcs. (600 gms) eggplants
100 gms shrimps, shelled and diced
2 pc. sili sigang seeded and diced
2 pouches or 1 can small Del Monte Pine apple Tidbits, drained
4 pcs. eggs beaten
1/2 tsp iodized fine salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbsp all purpose flour
5 tbsp cooking oil
- You can broil, grill or boil the eggplants until cooked
- Peel and discard stems then chop the flesh.
- In a bowl, combine eggplants, shrimps, sili, Del Monte pineapple tidbits, eggs, salt and pepper, mix well.
- Heat oil. Fry mixture by 1/4 cup until cooked on both sides. Serve with Del Monte Ketchup.
I like to dress nicely and I have some very close friends who now live in Texas. Texas has its own style and fashion. There are cowboy hats and cowboy boots, even for us ladies. I don’t know if my friends have them but I imagine they do. I mean if you live in Texas you need boots right? Well I have been looking at some types of boots and some styles are pretty cool. My youngest daughter has a pair of boots that she can “clomp” around in. So the next time I talk to my friends in Texas I will ask them if they have a nice pair of boots. Are you reading this friend? LOL!
Yesterday morning, after I handed the garbage bag to the garbage collector, I saw a vendor selling some fresh bulinao. (It is some sort of small fish). When my sister arrived I ask her to cook the other half and the other half we’ll make it kinilaw. Kinilaw in English is Ceviche; it is some sort of dish in Filipino, in which the meat of a fish is cooked only with Lemon or Vinegar. Anyway, we had a good breakfast, I guess I was able to finish 3 cups of rice with the kinilaw that my sister made for breakfast, I don’t care if my tummy will bulge later, I will just take good care of it when I’m done. LOL
