Youngest Daughter’s Birthday Is Done

Finally, my youngest daughter’s birthday is done. It was only a simple celebration, I just bought kiddie meal in Mc Donalds for 16 kids, and I bought extra for the teacher and my nephew who is also at the same school. I supposed to stay when the teacher distributed the foods but then I haven’t sleep yet and I need to grocery shop for our diner. Yes, we have a simple dinner at home. I just bought ingredients for Patatin, for Pancit Canton and Fried Chicken. I also bought a simple cake for her.

Why it was so simple?

It is because she just asked for a short day tour in Eden Park; you see she was not able to visit the place yet. I, myself went to that place like 10 years ago when I and my husband first met. Thus the day tour served as memories for us that I want my kids to know and be aware of the places I and their Dad went to.

She had a good time, there were snacks included with the day tour. It was pasta for all of us, which Faith enjoyed a lot. It was a simple celebration that I believed will cherish forever.

Late Post : Mother’s Day

Late post:

Yeah it is almost Father’s day yet I didn’t post our Mother’s Day Celebration. Well it was nothing special, but what made it special was because my kids did an extra effort to surprise me. I didn’t expect of anything that day, I dropped by at the pizza parlor to share it with my kids, I didn’t have extra that day, the pizza I bought was cheap, don’t get me wrong we love the flavor of the pizza, it is tasty and the filling is just delish. The moment I arrived home, my daughters surprised me with balloons and a cake from Bistro Rosario. Oh well, they will not be able to accomplish without their financier, my husband.

Father’s day is approaching I am thinking of something nice to buy at home. I know my husband is not here to celebrate with us but even though I think it still have sense to make it extra special for my husband. I think I will treat the kids for a pizza, I will go to the same pizza parlor but I will buy extra box this time. Happy Father’s day my husband, thank you for always supporting us.

Expect The Unexpected

I was so tired from work but it was Mother’s Day so I need to be lively for the kids, they know how special the day is. If only I have budget today I would treat them to something nice like eating outside, explore at least after going to church. But my money is limited today I only even have some bucks today. I asked my workmate if the affordable pizza house is open today and he said yes. So I went there after work, I choose the pepperoni flavor since I know Faith loves this flavor so much, I only ordered the medium size since I don’t have budget for large size but I am sure the kids would love this treat. Yes, it’s Mother’s day and I should be the one to get some treats but I  know how much my husband is struggling for money right now so we just have to live with what we have. On the other hand, my husband never failed to pay our bills when I asked him to, which is more important so we can enjoy what we have in the house.

I texted Mj saying that I will be going home soon with a pizza, it’s not the Greenwich, which they love the most but it’s with the other brand but I am sure they will love it. My daughter just said “thanks mom” without greeting me “happy mother’s day” I was not disappointed but I expected it, I know them being so sweet and they always remember special occasion especially Mother’s Day since it always advertised in the TV but anyway, it’s no big deal as long as we are together eating this pizza I bought.

You know the saying “expect the unexpected” is somewhat true because when I got home, Mj and Faith came rushing to the door with balloons and a cake greeting me “Happy Mother’s Day!” I was smiling so wide, I never thought they were able to buy a cake, I wonder how but I need to deal it later, I just want to enjoy this moment with my kids. I need to eat the pizza and the cake they surprised me right away because I am already starving.

Dinner At Outback On Her Birthday

This was a long overdue post; this dinner was during my youngest daughter’s birthday. You see we don’t have much budget at that time, I asked Faith if we can just have dinner outside with family and I will just bring lunch for her and to her classmate at lunch in the school. She was hesitant at first but I was able to convince her at the last minute.

My sister and her family was already there when we arrived at the Outback Grill, we choose the area for kids since it is Faith’s birthday. We had dinner right away when we arrived, my sister was the one who ordered the foods so I didn’t know the price of the foods they ordered and I had my jaw-dropped when I realized I paid P 5, 000.00 and plus. Geez, I could have known, never will I trust them but thank GOD that my sister has extra to cover the plus, lol!
